At an over-subscribed reception dinner held by the Chamber, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a city’s business delegation met executives of Camber member companies and key organizations.
In his address, the Mayor related to his personal history with Israel, and his Israeli roots, highlighting the transformation of Chicago in the past six years since he took office, making Chicago a central business-hub for the United States. Ofra Strauss, Chair of the Chamber, stressed the close relations between the Israel and the Chicago communities.
