The Honorable Governor of Iowa, Kim Reynolds was our special guest of honor at a breakfast seminar where dozens of companies interested in expanding to Iowa participated.
Governor Reynolds expressed her admiration of the vibrant Israeli innovation community and invited them to collaborate with Iowan companies and academic institutions. Ms. Reynolds was followed by Ms. Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority who described the advantages and incentives for Israeli companies wishing to establish business activities in the state of Iowa.
Mr. Steve Dickinson, a partner and co-chair of the International practice at his law firm, Cozen O’Connor, gave a presentation outlining the legal aspects of doing business in Iowa. The event concluded with a Q&A session. The Chamber CEO Oded Rose moderated the event.
The event was organized by the Chamber together with Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce and Chamber members Herzog; Fox & Neeman Advocates, who hosted the event at their offices. Chamber Board member, Gerry Stoch coordinated the Iowa mission to Israel and provided for our role in this important event.
