(October 22, 2018) Chamber Chairman Yaniv Garty, CEO of Intel Israel hosted Governor of New Jersey Phil Murphy and First lady Tammy Murphy for a round table on Autonomous Vehicles at Chamber member and autonomous industrial drones' leader Airobotics.
New Jersey has a particular interest in Autonomous Vehicles for being the most densely populated state in the United State and for being one of the main transportation hubs in the country. No wonder the explosive Israeli Autonomous Vehicles industry was of particular interest to NJ Governor and his team.
Seven companies, including Mobileye (Intel), WAZE, Intuition Robotics, Innoviz, Parazero, Airobotics and IP Gallery participated in the round table and presented their products and technologies. The Governor was particularly interested in their needs when coming to make location decisions.
The companies' CEOs found it particularly useful to have a direct access to the Governor and the state top decision makers. They had the opportunity to discuss in detail their particular advantages for the state, and the possible incentives and other advantages in being located in New Jersey. New Jersey is known for its education system that is one of the top in the country and the state with the highest number of direct flights from Tel Aviv than any other state in the U.S.
