The Chamber together with Chamber member Delloite and the Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy held a conference on the new tax reforms in the United States. Professor Avi Simhon, Chair of the National Economic Council and the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister gave the key-note speech, and Delloite U.S. tax experts, Moshe Bina and Alan Cohen gave an in-depth analysis of the key implications, as much as is currently known. Key deliveries of the conference were that this is indeed an "earth-quake" in terms of tax-incentives which is already changing business strategies of major U.S. and international companies with regards to investment and location strategies. At the same time, there are many unanswered questions and the full story is still unfolding. Follow-on focused seminars are being planned. Keep posted.
