Head of ESG, BAZAN Group Oil Refineries
Hagit is serving as an Executive at Bazan Group. Since 2022, she leads the Group's global sustainability strategy and implementation. Her role includes ESG regulation implementation, support to business units and managing the Group's philanthropy fund (~30 million NIS).
Prior to this role, Hagit held an executive position at Energean, spearheading communications strategy and stakeholder management. Her regulatory expertise was developed as General Counsel and Head of Regulation in the solar sector, followed by her role as Spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Energy.
As Israel Representative for both the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Southern Company, Hagit led collaborations with innovation and hi-tech ecosystem alongside policy making efforts.
Her academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University's Recanati Lauder School of Management (2022), an LLB and Middle Eastern Studies degree (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University, and a Master's in Government from Reichman University.
She is a graduate of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL, 2020) and the U.S. State Department's International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) on Energy Security (2017).
Hagit serves as a member of the advisory board of Arison ESG Center at Reichman University; Leader of Manufacturers’ Association in Israel.
