An important milestone was reached last week in the project to build a strategic collaboration in Healthcare between the U.S. and Israel. During Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis visit to Israel, the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Florida, Inc. and the Israel Innovation Authority signed a joined declaration on Florida-Israel collaboration in healthcare, including creating a "Med-Tech Hub" for Israeli life-sciences startups, that will be a one-stop-shop for all required services such as FDA, CMS, Investor relations, industry partnership, access to data and more. This model is now being pursued by several states.
Additionally the declaration includes exploring and initiating several avenues for economic and business collaboration, joint research and development programs for Florida and Israeli companies in health-tech, and joint research projects for academic, research and other institutions from both Florida and Israel.
