Tel Aviv (March 28) At the Medical Directors Conference, Oded Rose, AmCham Israel CEO, presented AmCham Israel's program to create a network of "Hubs" in the United States for Israeli Health-tech startups. The program is part of the U.S.-Israel Strategic Cooperation in Healthcare Program, backed by the U.S. Congress and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), The Hubs will provide a suite of services required by startups when they enter the U.S. market. Those services include FDA regulatory assistance, Reimbursment consulting, Clinical trials planning, business development and marketing, introduction to investors and pysical premises. Initially the plan is to open two pilot Hubs in 2023, most likely in New England. Later, or next year the plan calls for opening additional Hubs.
