At their recent visit to Israel, New Jersey Governor and First Lady Phil and Tammy Murphy met with AmCham company members from the Healthcare and Autonomous Drone industries. Both those industries were of particular interest to the New Jersey team, as NJ aims to position itself as a leader in those industries. This was a unique, informal way for the Amcham members' executives to learn first hand of NJ's many advantages in location and human capital, strong academic institutions and a business friendly state government. Each company was able to presnet specific requests that were all addressed by the NJ team. Amcham members incldued Teva, Rafa, Polypid, QRGenetics, Airobotics, and SolarDrones.
Governor Murphy also addressed the unfolding U.S. - Israel Strategic Cooperation in Healthcare that Amcham Israel is coordinating on teh Israeli side, and stated that he wanted NJ to take and active leadeship role in promoting such a strategic program. The NJ and Amcham teams agreed to launch a joint-process to examine opportunities to accelerate this project.
