Tel Aviv, December 10, 2024. The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce (Amcham Israel) announces that its CEO, Oded Rose, will step down at the end of this year following an impressive tenure of nearly a decade. Mr. Rose will continue to advise the Chamber in several key areas, including fostering collaborations between Israel and the United States in the healthcare sector, a field he has successfully led in recent years. During his tenure, Oded led the Chamber toward substantial achievements, establishing it as a leading force in Israel-US trade relations.

Under his leadership, the Chamber strengthened its position and achieved notable milestones, including a significant increase in its membership, which now represents over one-third of the Israeli economy. Today, the Chamber operates forums and professional committees across diverse fields such as healthcare, sustainability, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, bio-economy, international taxation, and more. These platforms serve as a key arena for business and strategic collaborations between Israeli and American companies, as well as between industries and government entities in both countries.

Oded requested to conclude his role after nearly a decade to focus on personal priorities, including promoting collaborations between Israel and the US in healthcare, continuing his work with the international school EMIS (which Oded founded nearly a decade ago in HaKfar Hayarok), whose mission is to use international education for cooperation and global problem-solving, and advancing regional partnerships in the Middle East.

The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce expressed its gratitude to Oded for his extraordinary contributions to the development and promotion of the Chamber and Israel-U.S. trade relations. The Chamber is pleased that Oded will remain as a senior advisor in critical areas of trade and bilateral relations and wishes him great success in his future endeavors.

Oren Sagi, President of the Chamber, stated:
"During Oded’s tenure as CEO, the Chamber reached new heights and became Israel’s most significant platform for advancing trade and economic relations with the United States. Oded’s vision and professional leadership led the Chamber to impressive achievements and expanded its activities into new fields, including artificial intelligence, healthcare, technology, and taxation, positioning the Chamber as a transformative force in Israel-U.S. trade relations. We thank Oded for his immense contributions and wish him great success in his next chapter."

Oded Rose commented on concluding his role:
"I would like to thank the Chamber’s Board of Directors, past and present, as well as the presidents I had the privilege to work with—the current president, Oren Sagi, and former presidents Ofra Strauss and Yaniv Garty — for their support, trust, and inspiration during my tenure. A special thanks to the Chamber’s members and staff for the opportunity to lead the organization during a time when Israel-U.S. relations have become so critical and strategic for Israel. I am pleased to remain involved in the Chamber’s activities and continue contributing to its success in the future."
