The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and the America-Israel Friendship League partnered in a major league business summit on Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 28-29, 2011, in New York City.
The agenda was as follows:
Monday, November 28th, 2011:
- A visit to a leading NY Hi-Tech firm
- Lunch with a senior executive from one of the leading American investment banks
- Tour of Ground Zero hosted by Michael Arad, designer of the World Trade Center Memorial
- Tour of the High Line - New York’s trendiest park
Tuesday, November 29th:
- Full Day Conference - At the New York Stock Exchange - A Partnership of Business Innovation: Join Israel Day at the NYSE - the program includes the traditional opening Bell Ceremony, panels, dialogues, round table sessions discussing the US-Israel partnership in industries such as Hi-Tech, New Media, Homeland Security, Energy and more as well as a showcase of Israeli projects dealing with social and cultural responsibility.
- Evening program: Festive dinner at the NY Plaza hosted by the America Israel Friendship League with over 500 participants from the NY & U.S. business elite, celebrating Israel as a Startup Nation.
