Chamber Priority Club and Board members visited the new Palestinian city of Rawabi and met with Palestinian business leaders.  The visit included a tour of the new city that already has 4,000 residents and fledgling business and commecial center.  Bashar Al-Masri, the city founder and developer presented his vision for the city and the Palestinian society, and Eyal Waldman, CEO of Chamber Diamond member Mellanox, discussed the benefits and expereinces of employing Palestinian engineers.  Mellanox employs over 100 engineers in the West Bank and 16 in Gaza througha partnership with Asal, a local IT services company. U.S. Commercial Attache, Mr. Greg Briscoe joined the meeting together with a group of senior U.S. Government officals from the Embassy and U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem. This visit is part of the Chamber's program to encourage long-term business relationship between Israeli, American and Paletinian companies.
